Thursday Book Club
Houston, Texas

The Thursday Book Group reads and discusses a book each month. The books are about women and include fiction, nonfiction, and biographies.

When: 3rd Thursday of every month, 6:45 pm
Where: Freed-Montrose Public Library - 4100 Montrose near Richmond (same center as Black Lab Pub) - 2nd Floor Map

Contact info: Norma Acker at 713-863-9651 or at spearmaid@aol.com

Afterwards, we will adjourn to Baba Yega’s for dinner or coffee and good conversation. Baba Yega Restaurant is located at 2607 Grant Street at Missouri Street (one block east of Montrose and two blocks north of Westheimer). This fosters continuation of a more informal discussion. You are most welcome to come join us at the library and/or restaurant whether you have read the book or not. In case of inclement weather, the Thursday Book Group meets the following Thursday. If you can't find the book at a bookstore, you might try www.half.com
